A red food colouring powder –
dilute with water before adding to biscuits, cakes, sweets, curries and other
savoury dishes, or add dry to icing sugar, meringues or macaroons.
Directions for use:
- Dissolve 14g (1tbsp) in 1 litre
of hot water – warm slightly if colour separates when cooling.
- Use as a dry powder where liquid
would alter the end product such as icing.
- can be mixed with clear alcohol
or glaze to produce an edible paint.
- Do not use more than 32g of
solution per kg of other ingredients.
